The Serving with Pride Board of Directors excited to share information about a sponsorship opportunity for our 2023 Gala & Awards Night which is taking place on October 21, 2023.  

 

Serving with Pride (SWP) is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization that values building, fostering and maintaining relationships as we offer unprecedented equity and inclusion training, free online memberships, and provides the only 2SLGBTQ+ scholarship for law enforcement and criminal justice students.

 

SWP is thrilled to co-host this year’s Gala alongside Peel Regional Police. We anticipate a record-breaking attendance this year, thanks in part to Retired Aurora Illinois Police Chief Kristen Ziman, a distinguished leader in law enforcement and our keynote speaker.  

 

Your sponsorship of this event is vital to the success of SWP and our goals of education, awareness, advocacy, and recognition of our 2SLGBTQ+ colleagues in Ontario.

 

Proceeds from the Gala will be, in part, reinvested into community-based organizations, namely Services and Housing in the Province (SHIP) as part of our 2SLGBTQ+ youth support outreach. These funds will provide supportive housing and life-improving programs to 2SLGBTQ+ youth in need.
